ltrsift-dbg software package provides postprocessing and classification of LTR retrotransposons, with debug symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ltrsift-dbg
ltrsift-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ltrsift-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ltrsift-dbg *
You will get with ltrsift-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
